Kavinsky died in 1986. However, while on the operating table after crashing his rare Ferrari Testarossa, he came back as a zombie, pulled his car out of the scrapyard and cruised away into the night, only to re-emerge 20 years laters as a purveyor of fine French electro-house with more than a little nod to the decade in which he snuffed it.
His new EP 1986 is out now. Do yourself a favour and buy/download it then wait until it gets dark, put it on in your car stereo, dip your headlights and cruise along at top speed, wishing all along that you were in fact Knight Rider or Axel F.
